Solid tyres have their advantages and disadvantages, the main reason why you would want solid tyres is to get rid of any risk of puncture during your ride. However, you have to be aware that solid tyres are not gonna last forever either. Solid tyres are not designed for daily high speed riding (over 35km/h) as the heat generated at great speed on a daily basis will make the rubber stretch beyond the diameter of your wheel rim with time.

no need to check for air pressure no need to pump up air on normal usage, can last up to 800km before changing a new tyre.
what is the different between air and solid tyre?
Air tyre need to maintain PSI at 45. because the tyre is small, pressure drop easily. one have to use Pressure checker to check tyre pressure consistently. if pressure drop to 20PSI, with the body weight and uneven ground. depending on speed and condition of road. the rider are prompt to leak (small or big leak).
when to change the tyre? Solid tyre depend very much on the very tight grip on the rim. after 500 to 600km. the rider may experience a slight slip between the rim and the tyre when brakes applied.
